Salient Features of the Rope & washer pump

• It is human powered hand operated pump designed to pump the water from 20 meter depth.
• The water out put rate for an adult at 20 meter depth is 20 liter per minute.
• The pump is appropriate for women farmers in bringing water to the desired place in the field from water source like dug well, river, perennial pocket at different land contour.
• The pump is comprises of pump structure, ¾”pumping pipe, 1 1/5” delivery pipe, guide block, polypropylene rope & piston of injected polypropylene.
• It is applicable to access to the water for both irrigation & drinking purpose. It increases the efficiency of water use in irrigation in combination with drip line in the gravity fed drip system
